Emerging businesses worldwide are experiencing a new era due to advancements in
technology and applications. By creating novel strategies, extending the customer base, and
other activities, innovations are also responsible for creating new business models. Start-up
creation is one of the emerging business models. Start-ups are created as a result of creative
ideas, supportive governmental policies, chances for self-employment, etc. Any of the
economic sectors can welcome new startups. Bengaluru is regarded as India's startup capital.
One of the key economic goals of many of these start-ups is empowerment. Start-ups not only
help others find work, but also improve the entrepreneurs' spirits and business acumen. The
topic under study focuses on start-ups and how effectively they operate in Bengaluru. This study
seeks to identify the elements that promote new businesses as well as the difficulties they have
in continuing to operate effectively in Bengaluru. The study examines these startups' operational
effectiveness. The researcher interviewed 10 entrepreneurs who had launched new enterprises in
the previous two years in-depth for a cross-sectional study. The sample was chosen using a
convenient sampling technique. The analysis of the data included ratio analysis and some
grounded theory. The findings show that operations and start-up establishment in Bengaluru were
impacted by the Covid-19 epidemic and huge operational expenses which resulted in failure of
9 out of 10 start ups within two years of pre-seed itself
