SELF-CONCEPT OF HEARING IMPAIRED STUDENTS IN RESPECT OF GENDER.

Self-concept as an important factor of personality has been well recognized among
psychologist. Educationist had found that various aspects like - behavior, attitude,
intellectual and school status, happiness, anxiety, had a significant difference on
male and female hearing impaired students. The researchers selected 356 samples
from 3 numbers of special educational institutions under Kamrup Metro Assam.
Among them 222 are male and 134 are female. Data wer e collected with the help
of CSCS (children Self Concept Scale). It is a standardized scale containing 80
number of questions. The study revealed that there is a significant difference
between male and female self-concept of Hearing Impaired students.
